Well, then...
Dec. 6th, 2010 12:31 am Uuurgh. I feel like i've barely drawn anything these past two weeks. Heck, i've barely posted for these past two weeks, so you guys probably noticed. Time sure flies doesn't it? I don't even know where all my time went! Well, partially to people and creating portfolios I guess. Whew. I feel like I can't write jokes anymore. There's so much drama around me. I just feel like hugging all my friends. So many people going thru various levels of pain. I'm so thankful for being in mostly good health and just being generally okay and happy. Yeah, i'm not rich and my job can be pretty massively boring, but I really can't complain that much. I hug you guys! Hug!
So here's a few fun things to lift spirits all around :
Remember those choose your own adventure books? Well, Youtube now has choose your own adventure videos. Including geeky, musical ones with hilarious drawings. Try it out! Try it out now!
I drew a guest comic for the webcomic "All new issues". It's pretty fun. It's basically about a comic shop owner imagining himself as a superhero. It was very fun to draw. Very Batman-ish :D

I made a few Namesake and "How to train your dragon" sketches. Mostly Alice and Jack. I wanted to play a bit with the changes of sizes. After all, Alice has access to the "eat me" and "drink me" Wonderland food. So, it would probably appear once in a while in the story.

I'm about to start the third chapter of Namesake soon. Dang. These pages are starting to pile up heh? I should take a picture among all my piles of pages...
I wish I had an interesting to type. But i'm just generally tired. I feel emotionally drained. I wish I could help people more. I also seem to be sick once more. Yay. I think i'm just tired. I'm not sad or anything. I'm just a little drained. Wish I could sleep a week. Hummm. Week of sleep would be awesome. In a fluffy bed.

Date: 2010-12-06 05:47 am (UTC)Your sketches are good. Mine are terribad, which is why I must clean up every pic I draw which is why it takes millions of years to draw something.
How are your portfolios going? Any art jobs opening up?

Date: 2010-12-06 04:52 pm (UTC)Not really any art jobs no. I figured I would try a few, but heh...
I think I need to take the time and sit and figure out what I want to do with my life. I was rushed to pick in school and turns out I feel like I don't know what to do with myself and I don't know how to do anything. :(

Date: 2010-12-06 08:05 am (UTC)Squee! Alice! <3
A question about the Eat/Drink Me stuff: does she retain her clothing, or no? I'm not trying to be gross or perverted: I'm legitimately curious. XD

Date: 2010-12-06 04:55 pm (UTC)Interesting question. I haven't actually decided yet. I liked how Alice's clothing didn't shrink in the Tim Burton version and the Grimm Tales version. However, in the original, the clothing does grow and it would allow me to avoid needing to do censorship (because you know... I don't really want to draw giant naked alice). I was thinking of maybe going half-way. Sorta... All clothing in direct contact with her skin will grow (forcing her to remove extra layers, boots and coats, who will not). So, not all the clothing will grow.

Date: 2010-12-06 08:10 am (UTC)It might do you good to just talk to someone (who will listen) about what is going on in your life. I thankfully have that outlet when I get together with a friend for creative endeavors, and even if whatever is stressing me isn't resolved, I feel so much better just being able to voice my frustrations. It's amazingly therapeutic!

Date: 2010-12-06 04:57 pm (UTC)It is pretty therapeutic. I just don't like doing it. I never liked going into detail in my feelings or whatnot. Heck, I don't really understand what I want/feel/think most of the time. I kinda just drift with the tired.
