I remember the Persephone story mainly because my elementary school had an acting troupe come in and present a play about the Greek myths (and the guy playing Hades was cute). ^_^;
That squirrel story is unbelievable! Dang, and I thought the squirrels in Colorado were persistent! O_O Lucky for me, the one up-to-date feature in the ancient, crappy building I lived in was the window screens. So I never had to deal with squirrels invading my personal space and stealing my food.
