 Today was brutal. I was pretty much as unmotivated as I could ever be. EVER. So yeah. I pretty much did nothing all day. Answered calls and emails from worried clients who worry about their system. Then I cleaned for a bit and ate. I my brain just started working again when I sat down at the drawing table. Today, I inked two Namesake pages and designed/sketched/inked/colored the cover for Psychopompes. Yay! I was pretty blocked about what to do with this cover. Sometimes the idea really doesn't come to you. I went thru a few cover ideas...

And ended up with this one. WHICH I ADORE.



What is it with me and skulls? characters seem a little small. I might still modify it... But it's a good start and then some. At least, it serves as a great temporary cover.

So yeah. I'm sorry. I didn't answer any emails today. Or really looked at my f-list. It was a"blah" day. 

Change is needed. Or something.

Er if you don't crit feel free to skip. For some reason the bottom half of the skull seems a little too small for the top part. Or the top half is top big? I dunno XD

I adore the idea and the way the girl's dress wrinkles reflects the tissue (I'm not sure what it is...) is totally awesome. The figure's size seem fine to me. Your inks are amazing as always. Gotta love that woodcut vibe.

Stu is right, it's "Under the ground" (sous=under, la="female" the, terre=earth or ground). Though, literal translations are never that great, so it would be ab-libbed as "Underground" me thinks.

I wanted it at the bottom at first myself... But the editor's sigil goes at the bottom automatically. So instead I invaded the top. Unless he doesn't mind. Then i'll probably reverse them.

Change can be rough, especially when it's coupled with work stuff. I'm so sorry to hear what has happened. Rughhhh. My best friend works in a call center, help line type thing. It's ridiculous. I can't imagine doing it myself. The stress of the customers coupled with the drama from that guy.... so gross. :( Bleh. Do take care. :(

Nice. I really like the cover! Are the little lines that surround them necessary for the story? I think the image could be stronger without it.

Is Trip your logo? It might be better if the trip logo is moved to an upper corner and then enlarge the main image a bit. Right now it feels like there's a bit too much empty space. Another way that would help with the empty space is to have more ink splatters creeping into the center of the image. I love ink splatters!
