Why is this so fun to draw? I don't even knoooooow. It makes no sense!

I'm pissed off. My carpets are now all smelly. Due to the leaking, yellow water. I want to go complain to my landlord and pin the cleaning bill for the carpets on him. Oh, my beautiful middle eastern carpet! Noooo! I'm really hoping nothing is dripping on my drawing table while i'm away. My fury will be limitless. Link thinks the elak is due to them emptying out the radiators upstairs and doing a half-assed job. Awesome.

In funner news, i'm going to go see Inception this weekend.  Seems like a good trippy movie. I want to see it.

In just occurred to me that, since I don't have cable, I won't be able to watch the new Futuramas or the new Avatar episodes when they come out. NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO.

I think there's a few places I can find them online, but most of those places don't allow you to watch if you are in Canada. *sniffles*

When I was in Canada I think we used proxies to get around such things on youtube. I will always love Vancouver... but I so did not enjoy being singled out on the 'net. XD Maybe try torrenting? :(

I despise Torrenting, too many tines I caught viruses... I,m hoping that they might put them up on itunes. Oh god, if the episodes would be on itunes I would be estatic. Or even for download on the nicklodeon site.

Itunes is a major possibility! I wouldn't surprised if they did that. Viacom does for other series, especially since a judge recently shut down their lawsuit against Youtube! There's also paid hulu now, too. :O

Yeah, that's why I was thinking of opening commissions again. I wanted to get 100$ to add to my jar so I can use it to pay my cable bill for two months, aka the time when Korra will be broadcasted. Again, IF it is broadcasted on canadian TV. I sound so pitifully poor *laughs*

It aired on YTV (a Canadian station for those who don't know). It just that it was behind what was airing in the US mostly...well except for the episode of Zuko joining the gang. That ACTUALLY aired in Canada first. Man, it was different for all the US fans asking/begging what was going on when it aired. XD

Yeah just to be safe I'd keep your drawings covered as with anything else that you don't want dripped on while you away. Even if it's just with a garbage bag or something. And make sure to jump on your land lord if you wait they'll usually try to slip the bill.

There's a canadian version of it, but they don't have all the shows. :( For instance, they don't have futurama.

There's a community I belong to that I get the current episodes of TV series from and they'll definitely have Korra. I'm going to have to do the same as you since I don't have cable either (if Nickelodeon doesn't stream them.) So, if they're not on iTunes, I can either give your my LJ access to get to the episodes (I do trust you. ^_^) or download them myself and pass them to you through AIM or my Dropbox.

And, yes, you can get all of the current episodes of Futurama at least on the American version of iTunes.

You know, you could always do things the old fashioned way and either record the shows at someone else's house, or find someone with the channels and time to record it themselves. (That's how my parents got a lot of shows and cartoons to entertain us as kids. I didn't grow up with cable.) Some of us have the skills and the technology to make nifty DVDs. You have the resources, you just need to tap into them.

Is it possible to air your carpets out on a balcony or something? If mildew sets in, your rugs are going to reek forever and will be destined for the trash. If you all haven't reported the leak to your landlord, you better be quick about it before things get worse!

Well, if it's broadcasted in Canada, I was thinking of asking my parents to record it. They have the nifty satellite tv thing.

If it's not broadcasted in Canada, I guess I could always see who among my american friends can do something. I'm really still hoping it will be up on itunes, so I can legally get it as it comes out.

I tried reported the leak yesterday, but the concierge is hard to corner when it's not "picking up rent checks day". I told Link to try tonight. I'm hoping i'll be able to put the carpets outside today. It rained all week :( Today is the first sunlight we've had in a while.

Thanh had a giant hoop skirt that it was determined "was held up by 3 midgets". Eternal running gag now. (There's also video on facebook somewhere of Jru and me[inebriated] sitting inside the hoop skirt in the hotel room making silly noises.) I ought to upload that to YouTube or something.
