Well, at least i'm not as slow at updating as SOME people (*wink wink nudge nudge Cyberknight*) XD 
I'm finishing up my after-school "Must do everything i've been postponing since...ever " rally. Whew. I really had a lot of crap to go throught! I cleaned my room and found a bunch of my old cool clothes and trinckets so i'm really happy about that. 
I'm still trying to get back in a work groove. It's been a while since I left the bakery and even though I remember everything and am still pretty fast at what I do, I make a lot of really stupid mistakes *sigh* I'm hoping those will go away soon.

Yesterday I had an extreme lucky day! I mean, luck coming out of my ears man! I had that day off so I accompagnied one of my friends on campus because she had an interview for a job in the teacher's librairy and she didn't know where it was. She got the job (YEEAH!) and then we went for bubble tea and invited another friend and her sister over to watch Howl's moving castle (Yeah, I know, again in my case, but hey, it's a good movie XD). It was really a fun day, I enjoyed it greatly. 

Bubble tea is a strange substance though. 

I also met at the video store where we rented Howl a fellow comic artist / fan named Benoit. He seemed interesting. Apparently we were in the same school year at the same school, but i've never seen that guy before. I'm thinking it's because I was in the school's enriched classes (aka where they put the "smarter" students, meaning the pompous ones who just happen to be assholes with better grades. I didn't really like it there, but my parents really insisted at the time). Most people my friends claim to know from high school i've never met because of that class separation. Also, one of my friend's brother was one of the school's popular guys so...I wasn't really in any "in" crowd...or any crowd whatsoever really.

Aside from that I just finished part 4 of the Zelgadiss gone haywire series. Enjoy!

Ack! You're still ahead of me! I need to clean my room and finish unpacking! (I also need to discover where my sewing table disappeared to. It was here before Christmas, but now it's just a giant pile of Christmas goods I didn't know what to do with before I left.) ^_^;

Both comics are very entertaining. ...and Sylphiel is frightening! She has a good point though. (Poor Gourry, so clueless and unaware of her evil intentions...) Oh, and DOWN WITH ADV!! XO

(I was going to ask if you got my letter. I was so nervous it wouldn't make it there in one piece! I love that kitty paper, too. Japanese stationary is too adorable.)

Yeah yeah, rub it in lady Isa, rub it bloody well in. XD Your first comic is cute, your last one..interesting. I get your point about ADV though in there..God look how long it's taken us to get Chrono Crusade. Don't get me started on other manga they've gotten ahold of. Poor Magical Prince Yoshida Kun..it had so much potential and then after one volume done. Gotta love major league cutbacks.

There is one thing I've been digging about ADV is the boxsets they've done lately. Endless amounts of anime boxsets, though I do say the thin packing is eh and it sucks they cut out the extras but at least the series is out and about. So I give them credit in that regard in a mildly damning praise sort of deal.

Glad your friend got the job too! Bubble Tea..I've never gotten to try that yet. It's hard to find places around here that serve it. x_x Oh and today store wise it was one of my managers last days, so sad, he was a pretty cool manager, I gave him a hug, (Secure male here folks. XD) I'm going to miss the guy. Oh well though. ^^ Anyway yes I wrote a mini entry in here. *laughs*

Yeah ^^ Sewing time! ^^
I need to start drawing (and typing) for you. However, I have a certain project I need to take may to conclude before hand, I hope you won't mind ^^;;;

Adv is evil, evil people trying to make good money off anime.

I kinda picture sylphiel that way. The quiet ones always tend to have this really outwards side of their persona you never see (like in bed for instance) it's crazy that way. Same with really extravert people: they have one place in their life where they are shy and silent. And yes, I love gourry like that XD

Letter barely made it. It was kinda ripped. ^^;;; Next time maybe use a normal enveloppe to put the paper in ^^;;; It made quite an entrance in my house...all we usually get is bills. My brothers were quite weirded out by this strange letter ^^
Your cat drawing was also very sute (*gasp* a winking cat!)

They only make boxsets because it's easy money that way. *sigh* hence the lack of extras and nice packaging. It's not that they are extraordinaly bad (althought I can't say they are any good EITHER) but they are motivated by money. Really. Adv is all about the cash. And I find that no fun. They have their hand in so many series...and yet, no love for the anime.

Go ahead and work on your project. You are so much farther than I am at keeping your end of our deal. (I really seriously need to uncover my sewing table so I can sew. If nothing else, it will be something I can do in the safety of my home when I don't want to deal with certain guys.)

Don't get me started on ADV. I just wish they would stop releasing titles I want. (Sad thing is, they seem to release unpopular titles fast, but popular titles slow. I mean, I found the box set for Rune Soldier Louie fairly soon after the series was all released. I've still never seen a box set for Lost Universe! ...but I really shouldn't think about that. I want to cry thinking about how they butchered that series...)

I can picture Sylphiel being that way, too. Just remember, she was the one who would even try using sex appeal on Hellmaster. ^_^;; She always seemed the type to me who really is a good girl, but she's also always been expected to be a good girl. When she's away from prying eyes, I think she's more likely to tread on the dangerous side of life...healing bandits, and punching zombies... (Okay, so still very tame, but for her it would be considered extreme!)

Next time I think I need to pack regular envelopes. I always take the kitty stationary with me just in case, but I've had it for years now. Goes to show how many letters I write... Sending change probably didn't help, either. (By the way, I discovered my stash of Canadian coinage from my last trip to B.C. I got to see what you meant about Queen Elizabeth aging! That's so cool! Now I just need to get back up to Canada so I can spend it.)

My cats always end up winking. I was going to draw it with both eyes opened, but it rebelled. ^_- My little drawings have their own wills. (I'm sure you understand what I mean!)

Thanks. I'm just trying to get this project done before one of my friends departs for Toronto.

Adv is really in control of A LOT of series and it's a bit worrying. Okay, frightening, actually. I'm scared when a bunch of super good series are owned by money sharks or worse, story thieves. (There's a certain editor in france that edits a lot of really really good french comics but has major asshole issues. I feel bad everytime I buy from them, but i'de rather feed their money monster then avoid reading certain series like Skydoll!)

Ack. Poor Lost Universe. I've only seen two episode of it! I've never managed to get my hands on more (Yes I know, I could try downloading it, but i've never been big on the downloads. Usually my friends do it and I just burrow the stuff from them ^^;;; )

I remember the Sex appeal thing (and I wonder...Is that what she says in the original japanese version?) That made me laughs. Sex appeal on a mazoku? (lathought according to certain fanfic writters it would work.)
I think Lina and Sylphiel are the living examples of intravert/extravert. Lina is really out there, but she's shy with friends and lovers. Sylphiel is supposedly tamed, but she openly glomps Gourry and, as you said, has this big travelling life we know nothing of that might be dangerous and wild (oh my gosh, how many times has she used sex appeal in the past?!!!*laughs)

Cool! The aging queen is definetly one of our coin pluses. (I'm not looking foward to having her son on one of the coins. Eeech)

All I can say about Lost Universe is, DO NOT WATCH IT DUBBED. *cough* So bad... Also, if you ever get to see the subtitled version, be prepared for a strange translation. (I mean, they translated 'Dark Lord' to 'Satan'! It made it really hard to draw parallels between Lost Universe and Slayers because same words used were translated so differently.)

I wonder if Sylphiel said that too, but at the same time, she was doing whatever she had to to save Gourry. She would do anything for him, or to get him. (In a radio drama she even hired a bunch of old villians to lure Lina and Co. in, then had herself and Gourry 'mysteriously' teleported away. When Lina finally beat up the decoys, she found Sylphiel not too far off feeding Gourry food! Lina toasted them both for that one...) Sylphiel is really delicate in the novels though. She fell ill with the whole 'Phil is really a prince' thing. ^_^;;

Maybe you'll get lucky with the coinage, Prince Charles (?) will not take the throne, but one of his sons will instead. I think those kids lucked out to take after Princess Diana.
