Personally, I'd have to say that the darker coloring looks a bit better to me. However, the font on the lighter one is a bit more fitting. Either way, I think the drawings are great.
As for the streetguy. Wow. I try not to give money to street people where I live simply because of the fact that most of it is just going to go towards booze. I honestly hope that Montréal is better about that.
Anyway. I hope the rest of your week goes better. :)
