Back home from visiting my family and friends in Ottawa. It was a short but good visit. I had plenty of fun, drank good marshmallow-y hot chocolate and got to poke a hyper baby. Generally, life is good.

Unfortunately, I made a friend cry by accident on Friday. I reminder her of bad things by being clumsy and silly. I kinda want to draw her something as an apology. Maybe I should bring marshmallows with me.

I tried to draw on the bus, on the way back. Drawing in moving vehicles is something I culd never do. Everything is scratchy and sketchy and out of control. I still keep trying though. Lots of Astrid in these sketches. I guess I love that "How to Train you Dragon" viking-ess.

The bus seats were horrible. My butt is sore.

Monday, it's back to the cubicle. But I feel this weekend gave me a bit of love energy. Crappy clients, you will not get to me!

One of my favorite webcomics, Yu+Me Dream is entering it's final chapter. OMG. Am I suppose to be this excited about it?

I saw a trailer for Beastly last week. [livejournal.com profile] earthstar_chan  is, like me, curious about this modern "Beauty and the Beast" adaptation where the "Beast" starts off as a pretty boy that seems to mix Tony Stark and Legolas. Either this is a "Twilight" wannabe, or an actual better movie being advertised like a "Twilight" wannabe to bring in the masses. I guess only time, and a dvd rental, will tell. I might go see it in theatres if rotten tomatoes is kind to it.
