 For fun, I decided to age up Charlie Brown characters after a friend of mine commented that if someone re-drew Charlie Brown strips with teens/adults, it would be full of sexual innuendo, violence and general weirdness. I might actually try that.

For now, BASK IN THE AWESOME!





And, because someone will bring it up in the comments, what's the deal with Marcie and Peppermint Patty. A lot of people dubbed them as lesbians because one is the frail smart one and the other is the sporty, boyish one. And one of them calls the other sir. And they are always together. But what about all those story lines where Peppermint patty pines after Charlie Brown and Marcie helps her out? I'm just gonna satisfy everyone by saying they are bi and Charlie Brown is going to have a threesome. If he ever stops focusing on the red-haired girl.

Also, Franklin is hot.

Peppermint Patty and Marcie are just girls? :P I was a tagalong to my best friend as a kid and always did whatever she decided, it's a fairly common thing for young girls from what I personally experienced and continue to see. Some kids just have strong personalities, and that was Peppermint Patty.

I love these designs, Lucy's just fit. However, as a Peanuts fan, I have to ask, where's Woodstock? Then again, maybe he flew to south for the winter. XP

I dunno something about making Charlie Brown lude just doesn't sit right with me. But, that's just me.

More to the point the designs are fab! I can't decide which one I like better Shroeder or Linus and Sally. (It's great that he still has his blanket.) And Pig pen being in the grunge/punk scene is rad.

Though Snoopy doesn't get a revamp? (And where's Woodstock? ^_-)

Those pictures are awesome. Even though it looks nothing like Schultz's style, you can still totally tell who the characters are.
I loved what you did with Linus' blanket. But seeing Charlie Brown rocking the skinhead look is a little strange.


If you ever wanted to see what the Peanuts gang would look like grown up, pick up a book called Schultz's Youth (it's a collection of his early comics starring teenagers).
