lmao your comic reminds me of me whenever I do something I know might freak me out but do it anyway. I have an illogical fear, but it's so incredibly dumb I'm embarrassed to even mention it. But trust me, it's really stupid and yet I can't help but be so scared when faced with that said thing that I'll go out of my way to avoid it -- even if that means taking a ridiculous, long detour to do so. ^^; I am such a scaredy cat lol.
But I'm with you on toys -- I used to think they were real when I was a kid too (I looooved plushies -- still do :p) and to this day I don't like seeing them torn or abused. It makes me sad. So that said -- I don't think your fear is illogical at all. Even if they aren't real, toys are still awesome. :D
