Just rewatched Wall-e. It made me want to draw a fanart with those android-designs of the characters I made forever ago. I love this movie. It's really their best movie, according to me (plus it won a few 'Best movies of the year awards' - very rare for animation films.)

I was reading stuff about Pixar online. Did you know they gave a sick little girl a private screening of Up as her dying wish? Well, they did!

*sniff...* Oh, Pixar...

In other news, i'm off to Ottawa this weekend. When I get back, my goal is to make a to do list and stick to it. I've been really tired/lazy lately. I need to snap out of it. Any advice on not being lazy? I mean, I pretty much go to work, come home and sleep. Barely even draw anymore. Isa needs to snap out of her funk you guys!

That is so sweet of Pixar to do for the sick little girl!

I hope she passed on peacefully...

You have a good weekend in Ottawa! :3

I cried like a baby the first time I read the Colby Curtain story. It's incredible that she held on just long enough to finish the movie.
And I have a lot of respect for Pixar for not using Colby's story for positive PR purposes.

I feel sorry for that poor employee. He was crying the whole time!

I actually heard about the private screening for her when I was down at Disney, and it really was wonderful. That's what a company should be all about, bringing happiness to someone instead of caring about the bottom line (money). From what I understand, the little girl couldn't actually see it but had everything explained to her so she did still get to 'see' it in a sense. Man oh man, it gives me the warm fuzzies..

It's a great story, and it definitely makes you feel a bit better about those super huge mega corporations. Some people in there have good hearts.

That was so incredibly sweet of Pixar. That poor little girl... ;o; I started to get teary-eyed reading the article.

I hope you had a good weekend in Ottawa!

That's so adorable it makes my ovaries explode!

Have you considered posting it on [livejournal.com profile] buy_n_large? It's a Wall-E fan comm that's still pretty active and they've had other Wall-E and Eve fanarts.
