*say above title in whiny voice for further impact* New things eat old work things. Run little Works, run!

Man oh man. I'm kinda tired today. All this new job thing coupled with no sleep is making me cranky. I'm not sleeping because my body is still stuck on Link's night schedule. I need to tire it out so I can switch. C'mon body! work with me!

I still haven't decided whether I wanted to go to the Montréal Expozine or the family gathering in Ottawa. Both things sound fun and both are a once-in-a-year thing. Decisions, decisions. On one hand, it sucks to miss out on family, but it's family. Unless they get hit by a few buses over the next weeks, they will be happy to see me another time and understand that Expozine is important for an artist like me. On the other hand, family is kinda 'sacred' as they say. And i'm not really ready to present my work to people, so going to Expozine will probably be mainly me checking out other people's stuff and spending money I don't really have to help out fellow artists... I though of going earlier and then leaving for Ottawa, but Expozine only opens at noon on Saturday.

Maybe I should flip a damn coin.

Long shift tomorrow. Wish me luck guys.

*patpat* Those are some pretty scary work creatures popping up...or would they be the "admin creatures" instead? Sucks that work is long, but it might not be as bad once you're used to it.

As for which event to go to...I'd say whichever you think will be more fun for you!

I guess the real question is 'how long until the next family get together'? Considering Christmas is fast around the corner (along with other holidays of course), it might be good for you to check out the artsy stuff this month then not miss the next family gathering. Even if you don't display your own stuff, you can check things out and possibly be prepared for next year.

The new schedule thing will take a little while for your body to adjust. I've read that it's best to gradually adjust yourself to a new schedule (go to bed an hour earlier than usual, once you're used to that, another hour earlier until you're finally on the schedule you want to be on) so don't be too surprised if your body resists an early bedtime.

Your subject line reminded me of a talking Barbie that came out forever ago that would say, "Math class is tough!" It was sad in a somewhat pathetic way. Just take things a bit at a time.

noooo little works! you must live! DDD8
it does take time to adjust and time isn't something we always have the luxury of.
a coin would be much more helpful than me. i'd say family, though i can easily counter that with "they're usually always there".

The new work thingies are kinda scary looking. 0_o

I say go visit your family. If you're not prepped to show some of your work and don't have the money to spend on other artists, remove the temptation. Only do the expo (this time) if you think you can get some productive networking done. Otherwise, see your family. It's important. Is totally not having her opinion affected by freaky Wednesday.

Are those gremlins? o________O

Good luck on your long shift and deciding on whichever you think is best!

I'd have a really difficult time choosing which one to go myself. >.<

Yes, new things are very scary... but exciting too!

And hey! I'll send you some of my anti-anxiety pills. Those'll tire you out! *sends vibes to Isa's body*

OK, that sounded kinda dirty...
