God what is this? International Asshole Week? REALLY? People, you're not suppose to make me WANT to leave Ottawa and never return. REALLY?? I mean....REALLY WHAT?

I switch between enraged and deeply confused at the moment.

First the editor stuff goes weird, then my landlord, then contractees...Then just people. PEOPLE are insane.

******

In positive news, I finally got my box of ROSE copies, so i'm going to start sending them out to people. I'll post the first batch on Friday and post here on LJ to whom it got sent. :) Sorry for the slowness guys.

In other positive news - weird thing happened today. I spoke to the president of a company that created a pretty interesting event registration system (called ISIMO). It's a small company, so talking to the president was pretty much like talking to an employee (he was calling me in regards to a recent change in the account we use for our clients at my job.) Long story short, in the middle of the conversation he randomly tried to give me a job. Just like that. Apparently I have impressed them with my (and I quote) 'quick and complete comprehension of our systems and professional and simplified way of explaining it to someone.' He knew I was leaving my current job, hence the offer. Weird. I don't know if I want to work in tech support / tech sales, but it's still an interesting offer - aside from the whole working on commissions part. I'll look into it maybe. We'll see.

Nope in Ottawa, but they have free agents (fancy word for freelance/commission people -not matrix coolness) in other cities.

So you'd be the resident Quebecois maverick?

It might not hurt to explore what that job has to offer. I know I've certainly benefitted from taking jobs outside of what I considered the norm. It might be nice to have some way to earn an income while looking for a more long-term/permanent job in Montreal as well.

It's pro/con list time! That's what I do when faced with a dilemma. Pro/con lists are awesome.

It might not hurt to take the job. At least you would have money coming in until you were able to find a better job.

It could be an interesting job and probably pays well :P

As for the rest, two words: People suck! ;)
