I don't really mind so much that they move. As I said, I have plenty of LDR with friends, family (my extended family lives 4 hours away) and love so, i'm an expert by now. What sucks is that once in a while you just want to hang out, in the area, and when all your relations are LDR is makes it difficult. But I do enjoy having friends all over the world.
