Ahem, so yes. You guys might wanna know that me and Link pretty much decided to get married after our seventh anniversary. In a month, it will be our sixth. So, YAY! I'm technically not fiancé-ed, more like pre-fiancé-ed. We both agreed we wanted to live together for a while first (since i'm moving to Montréal next october, that's perfect.) No, I don't have a ring, I don't have a dress, don't ask me any of that girly stuff. I'm just glad I get to stay with Link and "nibble on his neck till the end of time"...

YIPEE! *extreme girly swirl*

Oh, and i've known this for a while. I just could not think of a good comic to announce this. I still haven't! Oh well. Happy! :)

While I know you've spent weeks at a time together, you should still live together for several months first before you decide to get married. That's the most mature and sound approach. Well, and it does raise the commitment level by quite a lot. Once you're married you can't just decide to walk out on each other on a whim without having to go through a lot of trouble, which can be incentive not to in the first place... ^_^;;

I think this is the right way too. It might lack that wirlwind romance movies seem to pressure on, but it's quiet and slow and rationnal and those are all things I like! I'm very slow when it comes to emotion and I prefer trying out the living thing first.

Oh, the meeting part was really random. My friends were actually trying to get me to dance with this other guy at prom we used to call pokémon, because my friend Tama had a weird dream involving Clefairy and stuff... Long story short, I ended up dancing with this Pokémon to my great shame. The whole time, Pokémon was however telling me of this other guy that was apparently awesome and that I had a lot in common with (mainly, drawing and geekness). Pokémon gave me Link's email and I kept it in my agenda for about a year. Cleaning out my agenda I found the number and figured "what the hell" and I emailed him after checking out his online comic (which does not exist anymore I believe!). We talked thru emails for a really long time and eventually met at the drawing class. I was wearing my favorite overalls so he had a big Gourry moment where his first reaction was "WTF, she's just a kid!" Then blah, we became friends for a while and I got teased by my friends a lot. Men did not have a great tract reccord around me and he was the first to survive several encounters. Which was impressive back then. Eventually, everybody but me knew he liked me that way and giggled at it like maniacs (well, mainly my friends Tama and Fauve, who are secretly devious.) and blah. I learned he liked me and decided to turn him down because...I have no idea. I was kindoff a jerk back then. We ended up talking for nearly 4 hours while doing ricochets on a river and I decided to finally NOT throw him in the river and to date him. That's about it. The rest is a slow evolution into old coupledom and it's awesome.

One of my friends called Natalie started going out with a 3d artist last year too. Him and Link actually studied at the same school, with one year apart (he was basically Link's senior). I remember sitting in the dark room with Nat, we kinda just looked at each other, smiled widly, gave a thumbs up and said : *Go geek boys.*
