I get the feeling that New Girl is going to be marketed as a self-insertion fantasy for lonely, single women. Think about it: An "unattractive nerdy girl" (by Hollywood standards, anyway :P) gets to live in a nice apartment with 3 smoking hot guys who are able to give her a stylish makeover while still retaining their heterosexuality (translation: romantic drama ensues and the audience can ship the chick with any of the dudes). It'll be like a less funny American version of Ouran Host Club!
