To be honest, I wouldn't be at all surprised if the grant doesn't happen, but if it does, it'll make the experience all the sweeter. Hope for the best, plan for the worst, you'll always be ready for whatever happens...at least theoretically.
No, I was referring to your closing line of staying in bed. It usually takes a lot to keep me in bed, and yesterday was far too glorious a day to waste laying around!
