Box office battle

 I had a bit of free time this weekend, so I drew this. You know that as soon as Minion puts them down, they are going to Accio a can of woop-ass. I love these three movies to bits, even though I haven't seen "Tangled" yet. I've seen Harry Potter though. I want to draw jokes about it, but i'm gonna wait another week and give everybody the time to see it before pummeling you guys with Potter-humor!

However, I have to say, my favorite part of the movie was the animated sequence where they told the story of the deadly hallows. Death looked great. I also want to draw pictures of the trio. A few people have asked me to, actually. They wonder what the trio would look like by my hands.

Anybody else feels Hermione is too pretty? Wasn't she suppose to be sorta homely? I guess the movies needs sex appeal. The twins grew so tall too!

I wish Voldemort was a bit more human. He looks, moves and talks very un-real and campy-like. I dunno. I would find someone who looks like THAT but talks in a dignified, regal, normal voice and moves like a gentleman to be much, much creepier. I always imagined Voldemort to move in a really regal fashion. More like Snape I guess. 

Happy late thanksgiving to all the Americans on my F-list. I hope you all celebrate with your families. I kinda want this holiday to evolve into "family and being thankful" then "Pilgrims offing some natives with guns and diseases".

Hermione is TOO sizzling hot for her own good. o_o I can never forget that image of young!Emma from the first two or three movies. Even my grandmother called her cute. DX I don't know what to think of her anymore without feeling like a creeper. D: (Though she's only younger than me by six years....)

I don't think it's possible to make a mainstream movie without casting conventionally attractive people for the lead roles. And since Emma presumably wants to continue working as an actress, she's going to play up her glamorous side.

Yeah, Hermione never quite fit my image of what she was supposed to be. Part of the reason her transformation in book 4 was so stunning was because she didn't keep up with appearances. I always figured that out of the two of them, Ginny was the beauty - granted, since the books are seen through the Harry-lens and he is biased toward her - and Hermione was the girl next-door.

Is older Hermione specifically mentioned as being homely in the books or something, and I just missed it? I keep hearing people taking issue with her looks in the movies, far more than people do with Harry or Ron (who both, aside from hair colour, don't match the descriptions of their characters in the books much at all). Asides from being awkward, big toothed, and frizzy haired as an eleven year old, I don't see why it's unlike Hermione to be attractive as a seventeen year old.

Also I want to see Tangled too, but it's not playing anywhere around me. :( I might just get caught up on Mega Mind first!

She's actually suppose to be attractive after the yule ball or something, but it the movies she was always... fashionable. That kind bothered me. She could have looked like that but looked more like she didn't brush or something. But, ah, girls will be girls and take care of their appearance even when they pretend they don't! So I guess in the end, it does work.

I adored HP7 part 1 too ^__^
The director (who also did 5 and 6) is very faithful to the books, and all the changes are for the best (like the, uhm, *spoiler*dance*spoiler*. Harry is way too jerk cold to Hermione in the books when Ron runs away.)

About megamind: your drawings are slowing convincing me to see this movie (and Megamind also seems hot 8D ) but...but...WILL FERRELL is dubbing him? The least funny comedian on earth D: ? So he finally made something good?

Hey, Will Ferrel did a few good things. "Stranger then Fiction" is amazing! With the right script, he can pull off a nice performance. His Tone and flamboyance is fitting for this type of villain.

I think it's because our bad doublers (is that the good word :o ) take a long time to do their stuff. And it is horrible ;) Every time i see an English film with French voices i'm like "Oh noes ! Let me hang myself T___T"
But in two days we will have Rapunzel :)

I honestly thought Hermione was a mixed child until the movies came out. But I have no issues with Emma. They couldn't have known how pretty she was going to get and how ridiculous would it be to switch to a different actress because she was TOO PRETTY? haha I think she's a great actress for Hermione despite not looking exactly how we'd imagined her. I think she gets the actual acting part right. I think she's the best actor out of the trio, tbh.

Ginny was supposed to be prettier, yeah? Her actress isn't a knock out but I certainly don't think she is bad looking. I think just compared to Emma, really.

Actually, at the Pilgrim's first Thanksgiving the natives actually showed up with a bunch of food, and feasted *with* the settlers -- so it really is more about being thankful than being in conflict, despite how things turned out in general. :-)
