The boy who lived and was extremely popular.

Saw the final Harry Potter, and plan to go back for a second viewing. Generally, the movie was good. A good finish to the series. Could have done without the creepy evil make-up epilogue, but the rest was great. Loved Neville, Luna and McGornagall. I find Radcliffe to be a mediocre actor, but I can say that he knows how to do two things really, really well : amazement and fear. So that came in handy in this movie! I liked the flashbacks, but felt kinda sad that we didn't get Dumbledore's. Also, the Ravenclaw ghost is lovely. :D what did you guys think of it?
Have some Snape and Lily goodness. Those poor kids!

But, everyone is entitled to how they feel. I would see it again in a heartbeat, but that's just me. I didn't have too many issues with the minor things that were changed like Harry snapping the Elder Wand in half and tossing the pieces. It was technically his to do with as he saw fit. Maybe I need a second viewing to catch some of the things I missed. I might've been slightly delirious since I went to see it the day after I got out of the hospital, lol.

I don't know why, but I wasn't really excited about this. Maybe if I rewatch all of the movies and re-read the books...

But when we were at the cottage we went to the drive-in without knowing what was playing and ended up watching this movie. I actually got pretty into it (despite mostly not having a CLUE what was going on.)
I think I must have stopped reading the books because I can't handle all the emotion. I get overly attached to fictional plots and characters. I would have cried for every single death!
And then I got so sad at the end for some reason, when they're watching their kids go off to Hogwarts, and that's the end of the harry potter saga I know so many people grew up with.
Sorry for rambling!!
and omg, lol'd so hard at the comic when Snape's editing his past - MORE LENS FLARE!

I think that's the cool thing about characters that grow up with you as opposed to characters who keep the same age and have a neverending franchise. The limited amount of time you have with them and their evolution makes them feel real and precious.

I have always had issues when it comes to aging and growing up :p, so that's probably why such endings are always bittersweet to me.
