Yoho, I've returned from my chrismas vacation! It was quite productive considering I got good ideas for my next year projects and for my website project (which will need to be ressurected to be worked on...) I also got to talk to a lot of old friends and family, and family friends and even a great aunt. Wow. It's odd how many people I know kilometers from my house...

This drawing is for a friend from college who is sorta a goth (more of a mild goth...She has cool goth style clothes but she wears them with more class and less attitude then a goth would). This friend is currently under the great influence of pokedot clothing and bearing a brand new Leeloo styled haircut. It's all very nice Julie...Meoooow -_^

Hum.. I really like the pic. She kinda reminds me of you, don't you think. I like the background, though I think it coulda used a bit more black in it. But I really like the border you gave it. I find that adding a border is always a good idea. I just adds a whole new level of finish to a drawing. Strange that I never do it myself... But then again, actually finishing my drawings would probably be the first step, no?

Julie and I have character similarities. I good along pretty good with her (and still do)I wanted to put more black in the background at first but that would have caused the character to fade away. Plus the cross haching add a bit to the style and I used the very cool border (I agree with you on the border) to balance out the black a bit. I think this is one of my best "quickies" as of late.
And yes, you should finish your drawings too. *sends guilt*
