HAPPY HALLOWEEN EVERYBODY.
And Happy birthday to the secondlina journal!

I was planning on getting the Halloween comics to finish on Halloween night, but because of exams and such, I fell behind. I,m sure you guys don't mind following this little adventure for another while huh?
Link has apparently decided to take over my journal...or he grew addicted, i'm not sure, but i'm glad to see he's drawing ^_^

I for one, got VERY good news.
First, I got a response from an art contest I subcrived from about comic book artists of tomorrow. They will allow me to submit my stuff ^_^
Second, I got INVITED by a random art agent to be a part of a group expo at the saw gallery in Ottawa. O_O Litteraly. INVITED. As in they loved my stuff so much they wanted to paste it next to some woman artist work who looks 10000000 times better then mine O_O
Obviously, I say yes.
I'm really happy. This means i'm going to have to work my ass off too.

I'll most likely love every minute of it.

Inuyasha blowing up the door: Best thing EVER since he ya know...blew up the kitchen in the manga. *coughs* Yeah. And Lina's grin is going to give me nightmares. Like, real ones, not those ones about the clowns or anything, just ones about her chasing me down AS a clown or something.

Lina's smile seems to have scarred several people ^^

I tried to make inuyasha super "macho" and destructive in this comic. I'm basicly trying to make a joke about inuyasha's main attack strategy in the anime (which I described as the "Run, jump and kill. Don't think. Just run into that chunk of youkai.")

That evil Sylphiel plot twist is kinda.... unexpected, actually very enjoyable and funny (although I like the old good Sylphiel, this is a refreshing point of view, and inuyahsa overreacting to the door is very like him, kinda... reckless), I think no one will oppose to follow the party for some more time.

Finally the luck is smiling at you, that teaches us nothing is absolute and last forever, not bad luck, not bad times, nor halloween parties (too bad) and of course neither good luck and times. You definitively should (and must) enjoy and do your best on your opportunities, so you can make them last.

I wanted the sylphiel plot to be unexepected. My comic is still missing a "nemesis" so I decided to use her as one. Unfortunatly, some lucky guy actually guessed what would happen!

It's still funny anyways.

People always say to fear the quiet people, and this would be exactly why! Evil Sylphiel is frightening! (Then again, if you ever watched Fushigi Yuugi, Yiu was voiced by the same voice actress, so I find it all too easy to imagine Sylphiel as the evil sort.)

I am very amused that Renge poofs. XD

*laughs about her re-entry into the comic* At least you know I'm on your side, so I'd never turn you in! First I guess we better go about saving you so that I can turn a blind eye... (Lina's smile is way too good. I think it might deserve an icon!)

Lastly... HUZZAH for you! That's so great that people are wanting you! When is the expo going to be? Oh, and when you do make it big, don't forget us!

I don't think Renge would "poof" in the secondworld, but since this is a comedy, and it's the most efficient way to show she just transformed...I went with it. It's cute. ^^

I've been meaning to work with an evil sylphiel for a while. I believe "Elvirel" is going to become the website villain.

I'm still getting info about the expos. ^^ I'll warn you guys as soon as I have more!

Make it big? Maybe. But I don't think i'de let it go to my head that much. Maybe just let it pump my self-esteem a little ^^

I love the panels between me and Lina. See, Stef? I can be the voice of reason!!! Lina's grin in that was just fantastic. Inuyasha, likewise, was just fantastic!!! Can we get you to finish the IY manga? It might actually get done by the time we keel over and die!!

I decided to not buy the IY manga a while ago, because rumiko takahashi as the nasty habit of going on forever, and usually become a little boring after a while. I did watch the IY anime, and movies, and read about 20 of the books (horray for public librairies). I'm not sure why they make her (or she herself) stretches out the story so much. Or rather, does this eird thing that she did with Ranma of bringing her characters together and them separating them again so the plot can go on.

Rumiko-sensei's drawings are cute though ^^

and I will so photograph every square space. XD

I can't wait to read it from the beginning.

Diane as an agent for CRAC. I did not see that coming, it was a nice twist. So, now I'm wondering if Link is going to try to rescue you from Sylphiel. ^_~

Ok, actually he's not done much except get blasted away, but since there is no actual evidence then I'd say he's just been flatly ignored. But still, he's totally being used and he won't say anything against it cause he's so nice...

*thinks, then smirks* Actually Lina, you can use the truth potion, you might get a nice little surprise! MUWAHAHA!

Enough of that, I'm loving this series and can't wait to see what happens next, and I promise not to make anymore predictions in the case I accidentally get them correct. (SORRY SORRY!)

Congrats on the art contest acception and also the invitation. You're very talented and I think you really deserve it. Nice to be appreciated for the hard work you do and I hope you enjoy it in the end.

Just a side note: Any news on that Lina/Gourry doujinshi you were working on, and about sending it out. I'd still love to get my hands on a copy, but with the distance, I imagine posting would cost quite a bit. Any way I could pay you through something like PayPal?

The doujinshi...i'll be honest, I stopped working on it for now because of school, school projects and work. I'll probably pick it up and finish it soon enough. I'll post news about it as soon as I have any ^^

Probably you've heard this many times on this post, but evil!Silphiel is kinda unexpected to me O_O Unexpected in the good sense, I mean :P It makes me think on the zilion times Silphiel has been bashed, ignored and generaly hated by fanfic writters and such... hahaha, guess she finnally is taking her vengeance XDDDDD Wonder how it will end...

Talking about the "real life" part :P... hey, congratulations! ^_^ Nice thing that agent had given you such a recognition (huh... I'm not sure if it's the word... oh, well ^^U) to your art... never heard about that gallery in Ottawa, though ^^U Guess I should search more information of it :P
