I've only ever gotten up to the fifth book, and that was many years ago. For some reason I stopped reading. But when we were at the cottage we went to the drive-in without knowing what was playing and ended up watching this movie. I actually got pretty into it (despite mostly not having a CLUE what was going on.)
I think I must have stopped reading the books because I can't handle all the emotion. I get overly attached to fictional plots and characters. I would have cried for every single death! And then I got so sad at the end for some reason, when they're watching their kids go off to Hogwarts, and that's the end of the harry potter saga I know so many people grew up with. Sorry for rambling!! and omg, lol'd so hard at the comic when Snape's editing his past - MORE LENS FLARE!
