Sing-along

This was inspired by something I saw on Tumblr. I always sing while I clean (much like a Disney princess, but I fear the singing doesn't actually call minions animal friends to me). I usually stop as soon as someone walks in. Thought this lead to a few dumb moments in my life. Like, yes, if you sing Elvis while washing an open window, the people on the other side can totally hear you. Oh well.

My life just would not be the same without the dorky moments.

Can anybody name all the songs :P?

Thank dog I'm not the only one who does this.

It's even worse when you have earphones on, and don't even notice that anyone came home.

My Little Pony, Tangled and Enchanted, man I'm such a dork. XP Oh well, singing makes anything more fun.

When I was little, I use to always wondered when people would break into a song and dance number like in the movies.

I'm glad I'm not the only one. Only in my case it is usually Ayumi Hamasaki. Or Queen.

Hahaha, I can relate to this though I don't just limit myself to cleaning when I burst into song. There are only two people I'm somewhat comfortable singing in the open with, but that's only sometimes. It's really embarrassing when living in an apartment and you forget the walls are paper thin...

OH GOD I KNOW ALL THREE

Singing and cleaning just go hand in hand, no matter the song. I usually hummed at work when I was cleaning up afterward, unless the radio was on for me to sing along, but it made things much more fun. I don't even care if people overhear me anymore, since oftentimes I'd find out that, say, a coworker also knew the song and could sing along!

Somehow you and English (oops, AMERICAN English) slang just shouldn't go together. Unless you're going to start rapping or something. ;)

I totally do this! Once I was closing up the place I work, mopping and belting out "ROCKY TOOOOP, good ol' Rocky Top, Rocky Top TENNESEEEEEEE---" When a customer walked in and went, "Hi."

*snickers*

I'm guilty of it as well, though I've gotten comfortable enough to sing around Mike, at least.

I'm glad I'm not the only one who does this! I've even hummed that Winter Wrap-Up song while working. It's just so catchy!

I'm not big on singing while cleaning (mainly because I know my family could hear me). But I belt my brains out when I'm driving by myself! ^_^

Now! From the ancient Disney vaults comes the hag Snow White! "Just whistle will you work!"

I feel this. Entirely. C: Why are we always so selfconscious about singing? Well, actually, I am a terrible singer, which doesn't stop me from singing when I'm alone, but still. I have a good reason.

Sometimes I'll hear my husband singing when he thinks i can't hear him, and I practically fall in love all over again!

LOL, I find this to be cute!

Isn't one of them from 'Enchanted'? I know Giselle sang a work song in that one...

Ha ha! I totally do the same thing while cleaning! I think it's all those Disney movies we saw growing up have brain washed us ;)

I sing along with music at the bookstore...in the summer, I often have the door propped open and so customers have caught me a number of times (in the winter, the door's closed and chimes when it's opened...so I'm safe). ;)
