I kinda like this habit I took up during the summer. After a while, I got sick of never updating this journal. So I decided to stop inking most of the sketches I post here, since inking was time-consuming and I hated it. So I sacrificed quality for frequency, and started doing more posts and felt a lot less frustrated. I also avoided postponing the posting of drawings until they were inked and therefore posting notes "late" (meaning that to me, they did not have the same diary value as the time the sketch was done).

Despite my workload, I want to keep on updating this journal a few times a week. I think the whole ditching the inking part really helped to the expension of my comic diaries. I,m quite proud of the work I did here and I am determined to keep on posting. A lot.

Of course, i'm not THAT creative, and sometimes no comics will be posted. Only drawings. XD Mwahaha.

I really like this sketch I did after I finished the dramatic slayers short story.



It's me as Lina, earthstar_chan as Sylphiel, ichiban_victory as Amelia, savvyliterate as Filia and yukiomoni as L-sama. The sketch is not good enough to make a nice drawing, but it provides a nice idea for one! ^^

I also drew this...My D&D character, Melisande. She is a half-elf paladin (Yeah, I know ichiban. I wanted dwarf but apparently draft paladins can't be, so I picked half-elf. *laughs*) She works for the temple of the goddess of the wind Ayla and is searching for her father, paladin for the god fire, that disapeared with the temple a while back. She hides her ears under her hair because half-elves aren't very loved. ^^ I like the design a lot.



I also re-designed the cover for the re-print of the Doujin "home"...here is the sketch:

Well, i'm off to eat supper (FISH!!!!!) and to watch the last harry potter ^^

I have "Home" and I do think that it fits. What say you, ichiban_victory? ^_^

I love the drawing of all of us as well and I think you matched the people with the personalities well (though now every time I work on Darkstar, I'm going to imagine Filia as a Bunneh :P)

I was feeling the same way in regards to my writing. I actually produce a fair amount of writing on a regular basis, but when I was forced to make my LJ friends-only for a period of time last year, I split out my writing into a writing journal. Then, I kept forgetting to update it and then I started posting random drabbles, etc. in my regular journal again. So, I decided that instead of remembering to post to a second journal, I'll just tack on my writing in the regular one and whoever doesn't want to see the entries with my writing can skip them.

And yet another attempt at organization goes the way of the BETA video recorders, most Internet blogs and the first attempts to colonize Virginia.

I am way too amused! Here I am supposed to be taking a Psychology test and you put this in my path... I love it! The group picture is excellent, and you captured everyone so well! (You even got my dreaded 'snub' nose. *is too giddy*) I must think of an icon for that...

*geeks out more* I LOVE the D&D art! (And dwarf paladins should be able to exist, but anyway...) I just wish Melisande and Relina could interact with each other. Even though Relina is pure elf, she doesn't associate with her people well, and was raised by dwarves, so she's sort of messed up. And we always seem to be dealing with dwarves who snub her. Then there was the village that hated High Elves and a party member actually suggested Relina cut the tips of her ears off to seem normal... (Relina opted to be smuggled into the city via a large box hidden under the cart.) Anyway! Man, I want to play D&D again...

I do like the new cover very much. Zelgadis looks very much the wandering soul... But even though the story is mainly A/Z, I don't like how Lina and Gourry are so in the background. They need love, too. ;_; I like the 'evil foreboding person who shall not be named' looming in the background though.

Okay, now to get my thoughts back on track so I can get my test done...

I don't mind inking, but I can agree with you that it does take some time to do it.

The group picture rocks! I think it fits everyone perfectly (I think there are times that I do act like Sylphiel quite a bit XD)

I like the cover, it will look great when it's coloured. I would like to read "Home" too. I would be more than willing to pay for that along with the doujin that you're already making. ^_~

Yay! J'ai finalement une deuxième histoire de personnage! Mais je ne m'en rappelle plus... zut...

Bon, je vais devoir modifier le signe du vent dans les dessins que j'ai fait de la ville (toujours sans nom)... Ma partie avance bien!
