Because I keep dropping all over.
I'm kinda tired. Been working the bookstore job and the school presentation job a lot lately. I'm not sure why all the schools decide they want their special literature classes on the same months (January and February). Must be a budget thing or something. But i've been giving at least a class per week. It's fun to give classes, but golly gee. It's a lot of work.
At home, i've been going into overdrive drawing wise. Meg, myself and Link are combining our awesome powers to create the Namesake first book in about 2 months (only one month to go). Link is doing all of the re-tooling work (re-colouring the pages that are crap and making sure there isn't any mistakes on the ones that aren't). Megan is re-wording everything and preparing the print file and the Kickstarter campaign. And i'm drawing stuff for the Kickstarter and for the book.
So whew. Lots of work. But so far, everything is spot-on on schedule. So I think we might finish in advance. The Kickstarter should start soon. The book is chapter 1 to 5, including the prologue and a bonus story. So it's going to be big.
I already polished up the front and back cover designs. Behold :

Imagine there's going to be text in the big blank spaces. The Cheshire cat is on top of the ISBN number. Many thanks to Link for doing the vector shapes.
I decided to buy the Hunger Games books. Because people keep talking about them. They kinda sound awesome. And I feel a bit ashamed that I haven't read an actual novel in like 2 years. Bad, bad Isa.
