I the spirit of the spooky season!

Stolen from [livejournal.com profile] ilikebigtoes

Name a monster, any monster, and I shall sketch it out and make a monstery post!

C'moooon! It can be mythological, fandom-related ("The horrible mary-sue eater of brains!" "That green thing in that show!") or childhood related ("sock-eating dryer monster!"). Go nuts!

The Creature from the Black Lagoon. I liked that poor little guy; such a lonely thing, he only wanted some lovin'.

Do ghosts count as "monsters"? If they do, I nominate Casper the Friendly Ghost.

Why don't we just draw monsterized versions of ourselves? O:)

I'm torn between two. So, I'm going to list two and you get to decide who you want to draw.

The headless horsemen, it's not Halloween without him.

Baku/ the dreameater I always thought he was a fun monster. ^_~

Baba Yaga and her House on Chicken Feet!

Ooh, I always like seeing how people draw mermaids/nagas in their style. I think Nagas are considered more "monster-y" though (despite the fact that most mermaids try to kill people. XD)

Do the Sirens count? xD

OBSCURE FROG MONSTER GO! (Ok, not so obscure if you've read either Faeries by Brian Froud and Alan Lee or Katharine Briggs' Dictionary/Encyclopaedia of Fairies.) Water Leaper/Llamhigyn Y Dwr.

Ok, you did say any monster and that it could be fandom related or "from a show".

Spike, from buffy the vampire slayer
