Oh, I doubt she was, but bunny girls are rather symbolic for...other things. Probably why those men were surprised to see her in public! I'm all for being a respectful cosplayer, but I know not everyone feels the same. Some people just get caught up in it all. ^_-;
I don't think it's technically legal for any movie to be on the internet. That won't stop people from doing it. Ghostbusters is still an active franchise (it had a game come out recently and there are talks about making a third movie), too, so I don't think the first two are online 'legally' at all. I mean, the first and second movie were released to DVD not too many years ago. I think it more than likely no one has shut down the illegal movies yet, but it's a never ending battle.
