WTF weird person?

"Hi, I just want to write you an email to tell you I know you steal art. It shows because your art style changes all the time. You should be ashamed of yourself and i'm going to report you on deviant art because you have a deviant art account too and you should be ashamed because people like you steal artists work and that's wrong and it's bad. You Alice drawings is obviously stolen

Response :

"I'm glad to see someone so concerned about artist rights! It is indeed wrong to steal art. However, I do not steal art. My art is my own. I'm sorry if the fact that my style is very varied confuses you. Many artist have very different styles you know.

Besides, if I was a thief, i'd be a pretty talented one to always find the perfect drawing that fits exactly what i'm saying in my post. And i'm pretty good too for finding art online that always has sketch lines and the same type of handwriting!

My point being that even though the styles change, clear details indicate that the art is truly mine. Like say, the fact that you can't find it elsewhere and the fact that my signature is on it.

But if you really insist to say i'm the thief, please show me the art you say I copied. I'd be glad to see it!"

Response from weird person :

"It's a really known art on the internet if you can't find it then I don't have to show it to you.

I,m not gonna report you to deviant art because you obviously understand that you made stupid mistakes. Please don't be stupid anymore."

My response :

"But then what will I write in my journal?

If you don't enjoy it and insist on being insulting, please don't read it."

Her final response :

"If you don't want people to read your shit don't put it online. You're a shitty artist that steals things and you know it."

My final response :

"Don't like it? Call Batman. Ask him if he cares."

Edit to add: She's probably jealous and angry that you didn't fawn all over the movie. You know the type of fangirl; the ones that believe the characters are real and anyone who dares speak against them is trying to break the bubble of fantasy they carefully create a little cocoon out of in order to function in the real world.

The same ones who meet the actor and expect them to be -exactly- the same as the character they portray in the fangirl's current favorite show.

They're fun to play with for a while, but be sure to put them back before they turn contagious. ;)

Wow, that's awful! What a bitch. And your style isn't that varied where you can't tell certain similarities. And you're right, some artists styles do vary. It means they can do different things.

This person is just a troll. And DA would never believe their claim unless they filled out a report and gave example to where you stole the art from. Otherwise her claims are baseless.

Wow....words cannot not describe at the stupidity of this person. It is probably just a bratty troll. Although, you do have different styles, but I can usually tell when it's drawn by you. I can't describe how, but you always but a "Isa" style to it. (If this person keeps harassing you, then I would say report him/her.)

I think that person is a plain troll. Simple as that. If she wants to blame you because art stealing, she needs "proofs"... and a pair of yes, because even if you draw different things, the style remains.It's like hand writting.

DA administrators are quite serious about art stealing, fortunately. So if this person reports you, they will ignore her because there aren't any proofs.

You must be hiding the artist in your closet then, since even your art with 'different' styles still has similar traits to others done by..that hidden artist somewhere...who is so well known you don't need to know where they are. Maybe it takes an actual artist to see consistencies in someone else's work, but I'd sure hope not! I'd hope anyone could see that.

I can understand someone wanted to protect artwork that's been stolen from elsewhere, but unless they can actually prove it they're just being rude. If it were me I probably would have become awful and gotten snarky about that art degree you have having to be worth something, if not the right to vary your art style.

You, however, totally have a clear style. Your line treatment alone is like a neon sign saying you did it.
